Luumu Tursas

Lately I have gone further and further into the forest without getting hardly anywhere.

Maybe it does not exist anymore.
Either way, I now need to talk about it.
Tools and things are good for the talking.
I get excited, and soon I am excited about the next thing. Right now I am excited about metals, concrete and harvesting.
The process of art making is a relief: movement, senses, looking.
Often I am drawn to ugly things. They feel the same as things that make me laugh.
And of course it is personal.
I hope my work can comfort someone else too.
